Cardenas is an active member of the (NADA) National Automotive Dealers Association, (TADA) Texas Automotive Dealers Association, (GMMDA) General Motors Minority Dealers Association, (NAMAD)  National Association of Minority Automotive Dealers, (AIADA) American International Automotive  Dealers Association and (VADA) Valley Automotive Dealers Association.

     Cardenas has been recognized for their spirit of giving. We support many National and local  charitable organizations, including the Boy's and Girl's Club, March of Dimes, Special Olympics, Boy Scouts of America Southern Branch, Salvation Army, Red Cross, Make-A-Wish Foundation,  American Heart Association, American Cancer Association, Nursing School, KMBH Public TV, KMBH  Public Radio, Harlingen Performing Arts Theater and many local golf charitable events.
